ACCESSING & LEAVING VOICEMAIL ON THE IRIDIUM SYSTEM.

Note: All prepaid and postpaid subscribers for Iridium service are automatically provided with their own personal mailbox (telephony/paging) at the time of activation of your SIM card.

When you hear the Message: IMMEDIATELY Press the "*" Key
(Do NOT wait for the automated system to finish speaking before pressing this button)

Enter your PIN code: 9999 or the Last 7 Digits of your satellite phone #.

Press "1" to Listen to your messages. (Wait until prompted to do so)

Press "7" to delete message.

TYPE IN +881662990000 AND PRESS "SAVE"

PRESS "BACK" UNTIL HOME SCREEN IS REACHED

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW ON HOW TO ACCESS YOUR VOICEMAIL

PRESS "MENU" KEY

SELECT "VOICEMAIL"

SELECT "CALL VOICEMAIL"

THE PHONE WILL CALL VOICEMAIL

IF THE SYSTEM ASK YOU TO ENTER THE SATELLITE PHONE #, TYPE IN YOUR COMPLETE SAT # STARTING WITH "8816"

THE VOICEMAIL GREETING WILL BEGIN PLAYING

INTERRUPT THE VOICEMAIL GREETING IMMEDIATELY BY PRESSING THE "STAR" KEY "*"

YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO ENTER THE "PIN CODE". THE DEFAULT "PIN CODE" IS THE "LAST 7 DIGITS" OF YOUR SATELLITE PHONE #. (IF YOU HAVE RESET THE PASSWORD IT DEFAULTS TO "9999", "1111" OR "1234")

YOU WILL NOW HAVE ACCESS TO THE VOICEMAIL INBOX

FOLLOW THE SYSTEM PROMPTS AS YOU LISTEN TO YOUR VOICEMAIL MESSAGES

YOUR IRIDIUM PIN CODE #

The default voicemail Password / PIN Code # is the Last 7 Digits of your Satellite Phone #: 8816-#(###-####).

If at some point you requested a reset of your Password / PIN Code # your code is now one of the following:

9999
1111
1234

You may also set a custom Password / PIN Code within the voicemail menu, just follow the prompts.

CALL THE IRIDIUM MESSAGING CENTER AT 011-8816-6299-0000 OR DIAL YOUR IRIDIUM SATELLITE NUMBER FROM ANY LANDLINE / CELL PHONE. *EXPENSIVE

WHEN PROMPTED ENTER IN YOUR FULL 12 DIGIT SATELLITE SERVICE NUMBER (e.g. 8816-####-####).

YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.

IMMEDIATELY INTERRUPT THIS MESSAGE BY PRESSING THE STAR "*" KEY.

ENTER YOUR PASSWORD / PIN CODE WHEN PROMPTED.

THE DEFAULT PASSWORD / PIN CODE # IS THE LAST 7 DIGITS OF YOUR IRIDIUM SATELLITE SERVICE NUMBER.

HOW TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL ON AN IRIDIUM PHONE.

The easiest and least expensive way to call an Iridium Satellite Phone is the Two-Stage Dialing method.

Dial the Arizona, USA Based #: +1 (480) 768-2500.
At the promo, enter the Iridium Satellite Phone # you are trying to reach.

When the call to the Iridium Satellite Phone completes and if no one answers, the call will be forwarded to the Iridium voicemail system. Simply follow the voice prompts and leave a message.

9500, 9505 & 9505A

Programming the Voicemail number into the “Envelope” option of the handset.

Press the [Envelope] key, “Call Voicemail, select?” will appear

Scroll with the up/down arrows keys until “Message settings, view options?” appears.

Press [OK], “Voicemail number, select?” will appear

Press [OK], enter the Iridium general voicemail number, 00881662990000.

Press [OK], a check mark with the word “Completed” will appear.

Hold on to the [C] (clear) key to return to the default screen, “Iridium”, continue to activating “Call Forwarding Unavailable”.

*Phone has to be powered ON, registered, and have strong signal strength (at least 2 to 3 bars)

Activating “Call Forwarding Unavailable” to voicemail.

Press the [Menu] key, scroll with the up/down arrow keys until “Call Related Features” appears.

Press [OK], scroll down until “Call Forwarding” appears.

Press [OK], scroll down until “Forward When Unavailable” appears.

Press [OK], “Please Wait” will then appear, wait for a while until “On” appears.

Press [OK], scroll down until “Voicemail” appears

Press [OK], “Please Wait” will then appear, wait for a few seconds until “Call Forward On” appears.

“Forward When Unavailable” then appears, hold on to the [C] button to return to the default screen.

Dialing the Iridium general voicemail number using the "Envelope Key" on your Iridium handset.

**By default, your password is the last 7 digits of your Iridium phone number.**

NOTE: When the Iridium general Voicemail Number, 881662990000, appears on your phone or pager, that means You’ve received a new voice message.

Phone has to be powered ON, registered, and have strong signal strength (at least 2 to 3 bars )

Press the [Envelope] key, “Call Voicemail, select” will appear.

Press [OK], this will automatically call the Iridium general voicemail number, 8816-629-90000

Wait for the Iridium voice prompt asking you to “re-enter the Iridium phone number you are trying reach”

Enter your Iridium phone number; you will then be forwarded to your personal voicemail greeting.

Press the [*] key to interrupt the greeting, and then enter your password to access your personal mailbox

Follow the voice prompts for menu options.

Phone has to be powered ON, registered, and have strong signal strength (at least 2 to 3 bars )

Dial your phone number and wait for your personal voicemail greeting. (00-8816-####-####)

Press the [*] key to interrupt the greeting, and then enter your password to access your mailbox.
