Effective March 12, 2021 we will stop billing, selling and providing service and support for Sat-Fi2 and Sat-Fi2 RAS products. Globalstar has evaluated the long-term sustainability of this product line and subsequently made the difficult business decision not to manufacture and offer Sat-Fi2 products going forward.

 

While this was a difficult decision, they have decided to reallocate the bandwidth of their network to support their large and rapidly growing Commercial IoT (Internet of Things) and SPOT branded business segments.

Please note, this doesn’t impact all other Globalstar, SPOT, or Commercial IoT products and services.

All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible. 

We value all of our customers and are in the process of contacting all active users of Sat-Fi2 and Sat-Fi2 RAS to communicate these changes, to offer refunds on hardware and service, as well as providing alternative satellite communication products & services to ensure you remain connected.

Making this decision has been very difficult but moving forward it will allow the organization to pursue a more focused and strategic product portfolio lining up with the present day and future satellite market growth opportunities. These growth opportunities include SPOT for Business applications delivering affordable remote worker safety, messaging, asset tracking and management solutions, and Commercial IoT products as well as the SPOT consumer business.
